EdChange Nepal, a non-profit organization, focuses on improving the quality of education in the country through partnerships with both national and international organizations.
Our mission includes utilizing digital learning to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Why Organize
Digital Learning Day?
Digital Learning Day is an annual event that celebrates the innovative and creative use of technology in the classroom. It is celebrated annually o the last Thursday of every February.
The event was started by the Alliance for Excellent Education (ALL4Ed), a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., in 2012 to engage students and empower educators through the effective use of digital tools. The goal of Digital Learning Day is to raise awareness of the potential of technology to improve student learning and to create meaningful connections between different stakeholders.
This year EdChange Nepal is organizing Digital Learning Day on February 23, 2023, to celebrate the importance of digital learning and skills in 21st century education, which focuses on holistic development. The organization strives to deliver top-notch education nationwide and this event highlights our commitment to promoting students overall growth.
Objectives of the

Ultimately, the goal of a digital learning event with this theme would be to encourage the adoption of digital learning as a means of empowering individuals and communities to achieve their educational and career goals and to drive positive change in the world.

It is well-accepted that schools need 21st-century skills in their regular education programs. In Nepal, schools are realizing the importance of modern skills for students in the 21st century. Some schools in Nepal are adopting a progressive education model by using banners and sharing hands-on activities on social media. Similarly, Digital learning is also one of the 21st-century Skills and it is also important, not just for teaching but also to be updated with the modern digital world.
To address these issues, three organizations – GeoGebra Network of Nepal, EdChange Nepal, and Neema Education Foundation (or Neema Academy) – are coming together to organize a conference. The GEN Conference is for professionals working in school education. They aim to discuss and find ways to make education more modern that matches 21st-century skills and is effective.
